Gamma Zeta Omega was the first chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. in the State of Florida, and in 1940 we were the first Greek-letter organization in the city of Miami.
As president of Gamma Zeta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., I am happy to announce that we have a newly revised website. We are committed to expanding the technological capacity of the chapter. Through conferences, training sessions, and technology forums, GZO will provide a platform for the community to engage with technology, as we continue to educate and increase our presence worldwide.
Mentoring, “Service to All Mankind,” volunteering, and building a sense of unity within the community is my number one priority during my two-year tenure. GZO must be proactive in its attempt to engage and educate our communities about the digital divide.
I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to Sisters Lisa Braye, Chair, Sabrina Cromartie, Co-Chair, Candace Bethel, Co-Chair, Erica Knowles Nelson, Co-Chair, and the Technology Committee. They have spent countless hours creating and implementing this website.
I sincerely hope that you will enjoy it and find it useful. Thank you again.
